AppSizer is a control panel (cdev) that allows you to modify an application's MultiFinder memory partition size as you launch it. To do this, you just hold down the control key as you launch the application and AppSizer brings up a dialog that lets you specify the application's partition size.
You use the control panel interface to set which key you want to be the magic key that brings up the AppSizer dialog. You also use the control panel interface to register your copy of AppSizer and to read the help messages that tell you more about AppSizer.
What Systems will AppSizer run on?
AppSizer will run on any Macintosh model running System 6.08 or later. At release, AppSizer 2.31 had been tested on MacOS 9.
Pricing
AppSizer is sold as shareware. That is, you can try it before you pay for it. We do hope you will pay for it, as it is the only way we can stay in business.
• A single user license for AppSizer is $20.
• For 10 or more copies: $15 per copy.
• To license a single site (such as a school or company office): $250
• To license an entire organization: $1000
How To Register
You can register one of two ways: on-line registration using a web browser, or off-line registration using the Register program.

Or, using the Register program, you need to:
1. Get hold of a copy of the Register program: This is included with ShareDraw in the same folder as the application. If you don't have a copy of this, you can download the latest version of ShareDraw, including the Register program, on the web at:

2. Run the Register program and fill out the form: You need to enter your name, email, postal address, and the shareware you wish to pay for. The form accepts many different payment methods such as: US Check, Money Order, Cash (in many different currencies), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, First Virtual, and Invoice (to be given to your accounts payable department).
3. Send it to Kagi Shareware: Then either email the data generated by the registration program or print it and send it via postal mail or fax. Credit card information is encrypted by the Register program.

Version 2.3 Notes:
Added the ability to save memory settings for applications that reside on read-only volumes such as CD-ROM, read-only network volumes, and others. AppSizer now saves the settings for these applications in a preferences file.
Version 2.2 Notes:
AppSizer 2.2 adds printing support when you have QuickDraw GX installed on your Macintosh. This allows you to print out the registration form when QuickDraw GX is installed. It also brings back the Cancel button - using it will result in the Finder informing you that there was not enough memory to launch the application, this is normal and how cancel is implemented. You might also notice the new icon and updated graphics.
Version 2.1 Notes:
AppSizer 2.1 fixes a number of small bugs found in 2.0 and adds System 7 specific features such as Balloon Help and a new icon that uses “recommended” colors. It also uses color graphics on color Macintoshes.
